Members,
We are
launching
our new
2008/2009
Season
with our
Opening
Meeting
on
September
21st. We
hope you
can all
be there
to enjoy
the
delicious
delicacies
and
drinks
created
by the
RSU
chef.
Here is
a list
of the
exciting
events
that
have
been
planned
this
year.

September
21st:
All
member
kick off
at RSU.
Light
lunch
and
Beverage
at the
beautiful
Atrium
in the
Life
Center
at 2:30.
Door
Prize
will be
Two
Season
Tickets
to the
Tulsa
Symphony
Orchestra.

for

*
November
15th:
Symphony
Night on
the
Town: We
will bus
to Tulsa
together
for an
evening
of top
of the
line
dining
and a
full
orchestra
concert
of
Disney
Classics
by the
Tulsa
Symphony
Orchestra.
*
January
11th:
All
members
meeting.
*
February
14th:
Valentines
Day
Symphony
League
Ball at
the new
Student
Center
at RSU.
This
will be
our
premier
fundraiser.
Our goal
is 400
attendees.
* March
5th:
Side by
Side
Concert
at the
Claremore
RPAC
featuring
the
Tulsa
Symphony
Orchestra
and the
Claremore
High
School
Band.
Public
invited.
Our
Mission
is to
promote
quality
educational
opportunities
in music
for our
students
and to
help
promote
symphonic
music in
our
community.
This
year is
going to
be a
hallmark
achievement
for our
Symphony
League
if we
work
together
and
support
this
important
and fun
filled
agenda.
The
Atrium
at RSU
is thru
the main
entrance
on Will
Rogers;
follow
the loop
around
and see
the
Health
Science
Building
on your
right.
Highlights
of the
2008/2009
of the
Claremore
Symphony
League
* Two
season
tickets
to the
Tulsa
Symphony
Orchestra
will be
given
away at
our
first
CSL
meeting
on
September
21st at
2:30.
This
valuable
door
prize is
complements
of the
Tulsa
Symphony
Orchestra.
You
won't
want to
miss the
great
entertainment
and
food.
Joe
Cernuto,
director
of bands
at RSU,
will
present
a
lecture
demonstration
on Brass
in the
Symphony
Orchestra.
Location:
Health
Science
Building
at RSU.

Bus Tour
to
Dinner
and
Symphony
Concert.
Reservations
Limited
to adult
members
of our
organization.
Only 55
seats
are
available
for this
all-Disney
Program.

Meeting.

February
14th:
Valentines
Day will
be
unforgettable
as we
kick off
the new
RSU
Student
Center
with the
Symphony
Ball.
This
will be
our main
Fun/Fund
Raiser
this
year.
The RSU
student
Dance
Band
will
provide
entertainment.
Our Goal
is 400

First in
Oklahoma!
We will
feature
the
Tulsa
Symphony
Orchestra
and the
Claremore
High
School
Band in
a "Side
by Side"
concert
at the
CPAC.
Kathy
Radd,
education
director
of the
Symphony
has
worked
with the
Executive
Committee
in
setting
up a
community
concert
with the
Woodwind,
Brass,
and
Percussion
sections
of the
TSO and
the
highly
rated
Claremore
High
School
Band.
This
will be
an
educational
event
with
great
community
appeal.
We have
an
opportunity
to
really
contribute
to the
cultural
and
educational
musical
life of
our
community.
This
will be
a year
long
remembered
as our
members
continue
the
great
tradition
and work
of our
inaugural
year.
